Heleson Foods since January 2016 has been promoting a project on import of fresh (chilled) fish, live seafood (crustaceans, mollusks, etc) and other food products to Botswana.
We are a team of romantic, though rational enthusiasts and food lovers, passionate about quality of food, health and wellness of our fellow countrymen and friends.
Heleson Foods has a strong intention to be a pioneer in regular supply of fresh goods to the country on a commercial scale.
Our fresh (chilled) fish and live seafood are imported to Botswana
mostly from SADC countries.
Each and every consignment is accompanied by the corresponding
Certificate of Origin and Veterinary (Health) Certificate
issued by the Competent Authority of the exporting countries.
The producers of fish and seafood (partners of the Company) are establishments
duly accredited by their national and foreign competent authorities
(EU, US, Russia, etc).
Import of fish and live seafood is coordinated with the
Ministry of Health and Wellness,
Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security and
Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism of Botswana.
We also make quality tests of our products at the Botswana National Food Control Laboratory.
